Betty E. Winarski of Woodland Park, New Jersey, formerly of Clifton and Glen Ridge, passed away at home on January 14, 2022. Betty was born in New Jersey on March 24, 1943, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Ann (Clarke) Farmer.
Betty received a Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University and a Master’s degree from the Teacher’s College, Columbia University. She was a Speech Language Pathologist with the Verona Board of Education for over 30 years.
Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she was a devoted parishioner of St. Cassian Church. She enjoyed tennis, swimming, skiing and spending time with family and friends.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Edward J. Winarski and is survived by her daughter Julie Jack and her husband Jason Jack and granddaughters Caroline, Allison, Katie and Emily of Bethesda, Maryland, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Wednesday morning from 8:45am-9:15am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton with services to then begin at 9:15am followed by 10:00am mass at St. Cassian RC Church, 187 Bellevue Avenue, Montclair.
