Domenic B. Puleo

Domenic Bartolo Puleo, 93, of Clifton, NJ passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023. Born in Passaic, NJ, he was raised in Clifton, and resided there ever since. Domenic worked for Even Pull, and Formflex Foundations in the woman’s garment Industry for over 50 years.  He was a graduate of Clifton High School, Class of 1948, and remained an active member of the Clifton High School Reunion Committee, 1948-2021. The class just celebrated 73 years. 

Domenic was a long time NY Giants fan and he loved music and loved to dance. He danced with his wife in every room of their house, and it didn’t matter to what or when. He was also always the first to be asked to dance by the ladies at many weddings! Dom was way ahead of his time. He was a Professional Organizer. He coined the term, in fact. He made the best sense of space and labelled everything perfectly. One lesson with Domenic, and you were set for life!! His workbench is a work of art, and he had the remarkable ability to fix anything. He even had a Birthday Party, where all of the guests had to bring something broken to challenge him! 

His creativity was endless. He loved to write his own lyrics to songs, he designed his own custom parts to make repairs, and he could create whatever your heart desires. Domenic was a member of the Valley Seniors and St. Paul’s Leisure Club, all in Clifton, NJ. We will miss his radiant smile, his love of his family, his spontaneity and his playful & positive spirit. He was also a charming, handsome man and a true Sicilian! 

Domenic is survived by his wife Angela (Fazio), his three loving children, Robert Puleo and his wife, Lyn, Donna Puleo and her wife Deborah, and Diane Fiebel and her husband, John; three cherished grandchildren Kimberly Pomroy, and husband Steve, Casey Triggs and husband Ed, and Kyle A. Fiebel; and six precious great-grandchildren, all of which he adored. 

Dom also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins who he loved to spend time with. 

Domenic was predeceased by his parents, Bartolo and Mary (nee Sammarco) of Clifton, NJ, and his sister Carmela “Millie” Puleo, of Clifton, NJ.  

Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, 2023, from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ; Funeral Mass on Monday, March 20, 2023, 10:00am. at St Andrew’s The Apostle Church, March 20, 2023, 10:00am (Please Meet at Church) followed by interment, Monday March 20, 2023, 11:30am, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, 255 Main Avenue, Clifton, NJ  07014.
