Donald Charles Lee, 93, passed away at home in Clifton, on November 18, 2021. He was a graduate of Clifton High School. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy.
Donald was an original entrepreneur, starting at a young age with a floor waxing business, and successfully owned Lee’s Tavern in Clifton and later, Lee’s Hi-Way Liquors. He later was an auto Lease Manager for Burack Chevrolet. He was a life-long member of the Elks Club of Clifton he joined at the age of 21.
He was fond of automobiles, and for a time, he was employed transporting exotic sports cars for media reviews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Lee, of Clifton.
He is survived by his sons, Robert Lee, of Kinnelon, NJ and Gregg Lee, of Oak Ridge, NJ., and his grandchildren, Alyssa Lee Migliaccio, Melanie Lee, and Adam Lee.
Funeral services will take place at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home in Clifton, on Tuesday, November 23rd from 10:30 to 12:00PM. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
