Donna Lee (DeFreest) Winters

Donna Lee (nee DeFreest) Winters, 71, of Jensen Beach, FL, passed away March 29, 2024. Born in Ridgewood, Donna grew up in Midland Park for many years where she graduated from high school. She resided in Clifton before moving to Jensen Beach, Florida 16 years ago. She was employed as an accountant for many years. Donna was a faithful supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Lisa Marie Winters in 2005; her stepson, William Winters; her stepdaughter, Linda Ventro; and her parents, Frank and Shirley DeFreest. 

Survivors include: her devoted husband, William Winters of 52 years; one stepson, Michael Winters; two brothers, Frank DeFreest, Jr. and Douglas DeFreest, Sr.; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Committal services will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Paterson (for GPS purposes use 62 Lakeview Ave., Paterson to access the rear gate of the cemetery). Please meet at the cemetery rotunda at the statue of St. Michael the Archangel.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local Humane Society or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Arrangements are by Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013.
