Herbert D. Paul

Herbert D. Paul, 90, of Waretown, formerly of Whiting and Clifton passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Born in Clifton, Mr. Paul was a resident there until 1995 when he retired to Whiting. More recently, he has been living in Waretown. Before his retirement, Mr. Paul was employed as a 4th grade teacher at School #12 with the Clifton Board of Education. He was a faithful member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Whiting for 25 years.

            Mr. Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol A. (nee Dahl) Paul in 2011.

            Survivors include: his devoted daughter, Monica D. Hague and her husband, William of Waretown, NJ; three loving grandchildren, Christopher De Petris and his wife, Janine, Marissa Reilly and her husband, Joseph and Deanna De Petris; and two loving great-grandchildren, Aubree Rose Reilly and Hunter James Reilly.

            Visitation will be held Wednesday morning from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the entombment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.  Facemasks must be worn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society,
