Joanne Hunt, 72, of Clifton, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa., Joanne entered the convent at the age of 19 and served as a Sister of St. Joseph of Chestnut Hill, Pa. until 1998.  Joanne has been an educator for all of her life, most recently serving as Vice Principal of Corpus Christi School in Hasbrouck Heights until her retirement.

          She was predeceased by her parents, Harold Hunt, Jr. and Irene (nee Fil) Hunt.

          Survivors include: her dear friend and Sister in Christ, Elizabeth Pinto of Clifton; four siblings, Barbara Bailey and her husband Bill, John Hunt and his wife, Kim, Hal Hunt and his wife, Karen and Robert Hunt and his wife, Helen; 13 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.

          A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Facemasks are required. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Condolences to the family may be left on the Tribute Wall section of the obituary at www.bizubquinlan.com.
