John Moro, 91, of Clifton, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023. Born in Clifton, he was a lifelong resident. John was employed for almost 45 years with the Givaudan Corp. in Clifton retiring as Building Services Manager. He was also a member of the Givaudan Fire Brigade.
John was a faithful parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served honorably from 1952 to 1954.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Remo Moro, Stella Chianello and Rena Bertoni.
Survivors include: his beloved wife of 66 years, Olga (nee DeLuca); three devoted children, Lisa Zemaitis (Joseph), Kathy Lacerenza (Nicholas) and John D. Moro (Robin); and five loving grandchildren, Andrew Zemaitis, Patrick Zemaitis, Jacob Moro, Maggie Lacerenza and Matthew Lacerenza.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Ave., Clifton. Entombment to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
