Kathleen M. Levendusky

Kathleen M. (nee O’Shea) Levendusky, 90, of Clifton passed away on September 23, 2021.

            Born and raised in Passaic, Mrs. Levendusky lived in Clifton for the past sixty-three years. She had been employed by New Jersey Bank and Olsten Staffing Services, however her true vocation in life was her Catholic faith. She was a lifelong, ever-faithful parishioner of St. Mary’s Assumption RC Church in Passaic where she was a member of the Parish Council, the Liturgy Committee, the Rosary Society and served as a Lector. In addition, she was also a member and Past-President of the Paterson Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and a member of the National Council of Catholic Women. 

As a member of the National Council, Mrs. Levendusky attended the annual conference of the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations in 1999.  Mrs. Levendusky was active in ecumenical and interfaith affairs.

            Mrs. Levendusky was predeceased by her dearly missed husband, Joseph R. Levendusky, who passed away on November 9, 1999.

            Kathleen is survived by her three loved and devoted children: Joseph M. Levendusky of Watertown, MA, Anne C. MacDevette of Highland Lakes and James P. Levendusky and his husband, Joseph Colucci, of Nutley; and her cherished granddaughter, Kaitlin MacDevette.

            Visiting will be Monday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 9:15am from the funeral home and 10:00am at St. Mary’s Assumption RC Church, cor. Market & Monroe Streets, Passaic. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
