Klara (nee Deutsch) Lahner, 97, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2021. Born and raised in Gaas, Burgenland, Austria on March 23, 1924. She married Franz Lahner in Graz in 1948. Mrs. Lahner came to the United States in 1955 settling in Clifton where she lived for sixty-six years. Klara was a home maker and an avid baker and was asked to bake for many family and friend’s occasions. She loved to share her recipes with all that enjoyed her baking. She especially enjoyed going on cruises and vacations with the family. Mrs. Lahner was a faithful parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Passaic.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Franz Lahner in 1993; her beloved son, Werner John Lahner in 2016; her parents, Anton and Anna (nee Laky) Deutsch; and her three brothers and eight sisters.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Carol Miksa and her husband, Peter; she was the beloved Oma of her adored and loved grandson, Bryan Losier.
