Louise C. (Gutzwiller) Foran

Louise C. (née Gutzwiller) Foran, 88, of Clifton passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2024. Born in Passaic, NJ to Alphonse and Elizabeth Gutzwiller she grew up in Saddle Brook. Mrs. Foran attended Lodi High School and the Berkeley School of Business. She resided in Clifton for 48 years and was a faithful parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Church. Before retirement, she worked for Valley National Bank in Clifton. Her favorite pastime was watching her New York Yankees, a passion that began with attending Yankee games with her father in her childhood.

Mrs. Foran was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, William E. Foran in 2016.

Survivors include: five children, Donna Balarezo and her husband, Joe, of Lake Hopatcong, Karen Ultimo of Florida, Linda McNeil and her husband, Bernard, Jr. of Clifton Donald R. Ulrich and his wife, Brenda, of Pennsylvania and Tara Funari and her husband, Vincent, of California; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and her sister, Lorraine Oliva of Cape Cod, Mass.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 1 from 3:00-7:00PM at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 2 at 9:15AM from the funeral home followed by 10:00AM mass at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Clifton. Private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association (www.heart.org), 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060 would be preferred and appreciated.
