Marie (Marotta) Domilici

Marie (nee Marotta) Domilici, 88, formerly of Brooklyn, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022. Marie resided in Brooklyn for 83 years before moving to Clifton, New Jersey. Marie worked at Metropolitan Life Insurance prior to marrying Nunzio and devoting her life to raising her six children. She was a loyal and faithful parishioner of Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church in Brooklyn where she attended Mass regularly.

            Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Nunzio Domilici in 2017; her parents, Luigi and Maria Marotta; and her siblings, Antonio Marotta, Bettina DeRosa (James), and Frank Marotta (Patricia).

            Marie is survived by her six children, Rosemarie Mercedes (Frank), Nunzio Domilici (Dyanna), Maria Note (Donald), Louis Domilici (Eula), Bette Anne Gilbert (Paul) and Joseph Domilici (Patricia); her seven grandchildren, Joseph (Michelle), Emma, Billy, Steven, Max, Nicholas, and Giuliana.

            Marie was the beloved aunt of Betty Ann Roberts (the late Richard) and her children, Sean and Garrett (Laura) and their children. Marie was the loving aunt of Lori Marotta, Louis Marotta (Dale), Mark Marotta (Karen), Julie Einstein (Fred), the late Martin Marotta, Rose Blessing (Tom) and their children. Marie was the beloved cousin of Maria and Anthony Coiro; and Antonino Cincotti.

            Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey. Funeral services will be held Thursday 8:00 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians R.C. Church, 1315 East 28th Street, Brooklyn, New York 11210. Interment to follow at Green-Wood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, New York.
