Martha B. Grieco

Martha B. (nee Golembiewski) Grieco, 98, of Clifton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.

Born in Jersey City, NJ she resided in Clifton for sixty-three years. Martha was a payroll supervisor at Continental Can Company, Paterson for many years. Then was a bookkeeper at Hanock Oil Co., Clifton and at Kaye Coat Co., Passaic before retiring. She was a former PTA member in the Clifton School system during the years her children were attending Clifton Schools and was also an AARP member.

            She was predeceased by her husband, Vito Grieco; her parents, John and Bessie (nee Tomeschanco) Golembiewski; three brothers, Clemens, Henry and Raymond Golembiewski; and two sisters, Irene Berry and Helen Novak.

            Survivors include: her children, Thomas Grieco and his wife, MaryJo, Gerard Grieco and his wife, Patty, Deborah Valdes and her husband, Armando and Richard Grieco and his wife, Barbara; six grandchildren, Justin, Jonathan and his wife, Michelle, Joseph and his wife, Marcela, Kasia, Candice and Xavier; and three great-grandchildren, Juliette, Madeline and Jonathan.

Funeral Mass 11:00 am on Monday, August 10 at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Road, Wayne, NJ Please Meet at Church. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
