Mary A. (Sudol) Siwiec

Mary A. (nee Sudol) Siwiec, 98, of Clifton passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2020.

            Born in Buttonwood, PA, Mrs. Siwiec resided in Clifton for most of her life. Before her retirement, she had been employed with PNC Bank in the Loan Department. A faithful and active parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton, she was also a member of the Rosary Society, the Legion of Mary and the PrimeTimers, all at St. Philip’s.

            Mrs. Siwiec was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fred Siwiec, in 2008; and by five dearly missed siblings: Genevieve Budjnoski and Stanley, Peter, John, George and Adam Sudo.

            She is survived by her four devoted children: Elaine D. Vigilante of Clifton, Fred J. Siwiec and his wife, Linda, of Mine Hill, Ronald P. Siwiec and his wife, Mona, of Saylorsburg, PA and Christine Ganowski and her husband, Paul, of Park Ridge; two dear siblings: Josephine Shemanski of Coplay, PA and Anthony Sudo of Lee Park, PA; seven loved grandchildren: Jennifer Siwiec, Lauren Everett, Corey Siwiec, Jarrett Siwiec and his wife, Maureen, Michael Ganowski, Stephanie Ganowski and Maria Ganowski; and by her cherished great-granddaughter, Olivia Everett.

            Private immediate family burial and graveside services will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery in South Hackensack under the direction of Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. A Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of Mary A. Siwiec will be held at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Joey Sudo Memorial Fund, 1616 Trawler Lane, Annapolis, MD 21409. This contribution is tax deductible.
