Mary (Mae) Miskewicz

Mary B. (Mae) Miskewicz, formerly of Clifton NJ, and Fort Lauderdale FL, died peacefully on Tuesday March 10th 2020 in Summerville, SC. Mae was born on August 7th, 1919 in Stamford, CT. Mae was a great Mom, and a classy and dynamic lady who loved wearing pink and pearls. She was a tireless volunteer, and a devoted friend. Mae lived a complete full life of travel and social activities.

Mae leaves behind her children Dennis Miskewicz of Summerville, SC, Rich Miskewicz of Hilton Head Island, SC, and Ann Marie Miskewicz of Vernon, NJ. She was especially fond of her grandchildren Jennifer (Alan) Wilson of Columbia, SC, Kevin (Andrea) Miskewicz of Johns Creek, GA, and Kelly (Julien) Dumont of Cambridge, MA. Mae also leaves behind 3 great grandchildren (Michael and Anna Grace Wilson, and Dylan Mary Miskewicz), many cherished friends and relatives, and her primary caregiver and close friend for the past several years Theresa Daly of Summerville, SC.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Husband Sig Miskewicz and daughter Patricia Miskewicz.

A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of Mae’s life will be held on Tuesday October 6th, 10 AM at St. Brendan Catholic Church, 154 East First Street, Clifton NJ. A live stream can be viewed at the time of the mass by visiting the Facebook page of St. Brendan’s RC Church in Clifton, NJ. Final services will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 58 McLean Boulevard, Paterson, NJ. Mae loved the color pink so if you can please wear a touch of pink in her memory. Out of respect for others masks will be worn and social distancing observed.
