Stanley Pilepic, 90, of Whiting, formerly of Clifton, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2020.
Born in Rijeka, Croatia, Mr. Pilepic came to the United States in 1958, settling in Clifton. He became a proud American citizen in 1963. He lived in Clifton for many years, raising his children, before moving to South Carolina and then to Whiting over twenty years ago. Prior to retiring, Mr. Pilepic had been employed as a Tool and Dye Machinist for the Aloris Tool Company, located on Getty Avenue in Clifton. He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church in Manchester and was a former parishioner of St. Paul RC Church in Clifton.
Mr. Pilepic was predeceased by his first wife, Bebe (nee Sirola) Pilepic in 2006.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn (nee Youngman) Pilepic, of Whiting; three devoted children: Andrea Avila of Lyndhurst, Jennie Pilepic, of Highland Lakes and Joseph Pilepic of Kearny; his dear sister, Milena (Milly) Lenac, of Monroe Twp.; three loved grandchildren: Robert Avila, Daniel Thomsen and Peter Thomsen; and one cherished great-granddaughter, Juliana Avila.
Cremation was arranged privately through Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. A public gathering to celebrate Mr. Pilepic’s life will be held at a future date.
