Thomas R. Fisher, 34, of Jersey City, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday April 2nd, 2024.
Born in Glen Ridge, Tommy was raised in Bloomfield and Nutley and then Clifton, graduating from Clifton High School and while growing up, he enjoyed playing baseball, basketball and football. He lived in New Hampshire for the last five years and had moved to Jersey City four months ago and since moving back to New Jersey, had been employed with the Carpenter’s Union. Tommy was not only a headstrong man but a physically strong one as well as he was passionate about lifting weights and working out. He was always a hard worker, had a really good heart, was the life of every gathering and loved the NY Yankees.
Tommy was predeceased by his deeply missed mother, Carmean Toppeto as well as by his dear brother, John Martinez.
He is survived by his two loved sons, Dominic Fisher of Jersey City and Grayson Fisher of New Hampshire; his loving and devoted father, Richard Fisher and his wife Lynda, of East Stroudsburg, PA; his dear sister, Autumn Martinez, of Rockaway, NJ; and by his nephew and nieces as well as many members of his loved extended family…he will be missed by them all.
Memorial Visiting will be held on Sunday April 14th from 1:00-4:30pm with a Memorial Service to then follow at 4:30pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
