Adam Kukutschka

Adam Kukutschka, 83, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, in Hackensack, New Jersey. Born on December 18, 1941, in the beautiful country of Croatia, Adam lived a life marked by love, faith, and an unwavering dedication to those around him.

Adam's journey began overseas, but he found his home in the United States in 1958, where he established a life characterized by hard work and commitment. He first settled in Clifton then to Paterson and then to Garfield where he resided since 1965. For nearly three decades, he was a respected Maintenance Mechanic at Marcal Paper in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.

Adam's heart was always with his family. He leaves behind his beloved son, Brian Kukutschka, his former wife, Nevena (nee Zutimovska) Kukutschka, the respect and care between them remained. His legacy is also carried on in the memories of his late son, Robert Kukutschka, his brother, Stefan Kukutschka, and his sister, Katharina Moertlbauer.

A man of the outdoors, Adam found solace and joy in fishing. The quiet patience and excitement of the catch resonated with his own nature. Those who knew him could easily picture Adam by the water, serene and content, casting his line as the sun danced upon the surface.

Visiting hours Monday, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral service Tuesday, 10:30 am at the funeral home.
