Adelaido S. Cuasay, 73, of Woodland Park, passed away July 31, 2023 with his family by his side. Born in Tingloy, Batangas, Philippines, Adelaido came to the United States in 1988 and settled in Jersey City. He resided in Belleville from 2007 to 2022 where he was a parishioner of St. Anthony R.C. Church. He then moved to Woodland Park where he has resided since. Before retirement, he was employed for 16 years with Quest Diagnostics in Teterboro as a Specimen Technician. After retirement, he dedicated his life to taking care of his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mariano Valinton Cuasay and Elena Cuasay Sevilla; and two brothers, Renato and Manuel Cuasay.
Survivors include: his beloved wife, Edna Espino Cuasay; three daughters, Aileen Laihee and her husband, Joseph of Clifton, Kathleen Cuasay and her husband, Barry Masangcay of Woodland Park and Karen Cuasay of Woodland Park; five grandchildren, Elijah, Xavier, Penelope, Alexander and Althea; and his siblings, Gloria Sangalang, Lily Montecillo, Nector Cuasay and Rudy Cuasay.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 7, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 9:15 from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton.
