Adeline M. (nee Pampanin) DeLotto, 103, formerly of Clifton, passed away peacefully with family at her bedside on Thursday May 2nd, 2024.
Born in Passaic, Mrs. DeLotto was a proud resident of Clifton for 101 years before moving to Stafford Twp. two years ago. Prior to retirement, she had been employed for thirty-five years with the Shulton Corp, formerly located in Clifton, as a production line employee. Mrs. DeLotto was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church in Clifton, having been one of the original founders…a “39er” and as such, was a member of the 39ers Club there. Throughout her life, she enjoyed travelling to many different destinations around the world with her favorite being her visits to San Vito di Cadore, Italy where her family was originally from. She was an avid swimmer throughout life, enjoyed crocheting and loved to drive, all of which she did well into her nineties. Mrs. DeLotto truly enjoyed living at The Residence at Stafford for that last two years and loved her time spent socializing with the others there and her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to both those residents as well as the staff for their friendship and care of their beloved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. DeLotto was predeceased by two husbands: the first being Frank W. Bode and the second, A. William DeLotto; by a cherished and dearly missed granddaughter, Jill Stolarz Rubio; and by her three dear siblings: Elsie DaBrowsky, Olga “Pat” Sanborn and Bartolo “Bob” Pampanin.
She is survived by her two devoted children: Frank W. “Bill” Bode and his wife, Elaine, of Little Egg Harbor and Gail Stolarz and her husband, Robert, of Clifton; two loved grandchildren: Jeffrey Stolarz and his wife, Cindy and Erica Bode Palaza and her husband, Butch; her late granddaughter’s dear husband, Will Rubio; six cherished great-grandchildren: Brianna, Cassidy and Jessica Rubio, Chloe Stolarz and Max and Elena Palaza; and by her many loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Wednesday 10:45am from the funeral home and 11:30am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.
