Alfred Robert DeLuca, 93, of Princeton, formerly of Clifton, passed away peacefully on June 18th, 2022 with his family by his side.
Mr. DeLuca was a lifetime New Jersey resident born in Hoboken on December 5, 1928. He grew up in Hudson County and then resided in Clifton for fifty-three years where he raised his family before moving to Princeton in 2015. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force before being honorably discharged in June 1952. Prior to retirement, he worked as Director of Pharmacy and Administrator at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic. His favorite activities were spending time with his family, hunting and gardening. He was a charter member of the Valley Brook Rod & Gun Club, formerly located in Lyndhurst, NJ.
Mr. DeLuca was predeceased by his loved and deeply missed wife of sixty-two years, Anita (nee Parladore) DeLuca, on February 4, 2018 as well as by his four beloved siblings: Fannie DiNatale, Rose Vaccaro, Laura Schroeder and Joseph DeLuca.
He is survived by his two devoted sons: Robert A. DeLuca and his wife, Bon, of Fairfield and Michael A. DeLuca and his wife, Milena, of Princeton and by his six loved grandchildren: Celina, Robert, Lydia, Andrew, Alexander and Olivia.
Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Friday 11:30am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
