Amalia (Fehi) Ferencz

Amalia (Fehi) Ferencz, 89, of Passaic, passed away April 28, 2022. Born in Csepel, Hungary, Amalia came to the United States over 50 years ago and settled in New York City. She has resided in Passaic since 1994 and was a seamstress before her retirement. Amalia had been a parishioner of St. Stephen R.C. Magyar Church in Passaic.

            She was predeceased by her husband, Imre Greskovits in 2001.

            Survivors include: her stepdaughter, Anne Szalay and her husband, Tibor of Passaic; her brother, Janos Imhof and his family of Hungary; and her dear friends, Judith Kerekes and Susan Voros.

            A Memorial mass will be held Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Stephen R.C. Magyar Church, 223 Third Street, Passaic, NJ 07055.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen’s Church.
