Angel M. Ferrer Bujato

Angel M. Ferrer Bujato, 89, of Paterson, passed away peacefully in the comfort of the care of his family on Friday October 31st, 2025.

            Born and raised in Colombia, Angel came to the United States in 1968, settling in Paterson where he resided since arriving. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a Machine Operator and Designer with Robro Manufacturing in Paterson throughout his career. He enjoyed reading books, photography, drawing and soccer however time spent with his family was by far his favorite and most cherished activity.

            Mr. Ferrer was predeceased by his loved and missed parents: Demetrio and Amalia (nee Bujato) Ferrer as well as by his two dear siblings: his brother Abraham Ferrer and sister, Alejandrina Prens.

            He is survived by his beloved wife, Enith E. (nee Perez) Ferrer; by his seven loved children: Demetrio Ferrer, Daisy Ferrer, Angel Ferrer, Milis Ferrer, Wilmer Ferrer, Bibiana Ferrer and Walter Ferrer; seventeen loving grandchildren and six cherished great-grandchildren.

            Visiting will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Wednesday beginning 10:00am at the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 11:00am at St. Therese RC Church, cor. E. 33rd Street and 13th Avenue, Paterson. Ángel M. Ferrer Bujato, de 89 años y residente de Paterson, falleció en paz en el seno de su familia el viernes 31 de octubre de 2025. Nacido y criado en Colombia, Ángel llegó a los Estados Unidos en 1968 y se estableció en Paterson, donde residió desde su llegada. Antes de jubilarse, trabajó como operador de máquinas y diseñador en Robro Manufacturing en Paterson durante toda su vida laboral. Disfrutaba de la lectura, la fotografía, el dibujo y el fútbol; sin embargo, pasar tiempo con su familia era, sin duda, su actividad favorita y más preciada. Al Sr. Ferrer le precedieron en la muerte sus queridos padres, Demetrio y Ama lia (de soltera Bujato) Ferrer, así como sus dos queridos hermanos: Abraham Ferrer y Alejandrina Prens. Le sobrevive su amada esposa, Enith E. (de soltera Pérez) Ferrer; Le sobreviven sus siete amados hijos: Demetrio Ferrer, Daisy Ferrer, Angel Ferrer, Milis Ferrer, Wilmer Ferrer, Bibiana Ferrer y Walter Ferrer; dieciséis queridos nietos y seis adorados bisnietos. El velorio tendrá lugar el martes de 4:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en la Funeraria Bizub-Quinlan, ubicada en 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. El funeral se realizará el miércoles a partir de las 10:00 a. m. en la misma funeraria, seguido de la misa a las 11:00 a. m. en la Iglesia Católica de Santa Teresa, ubicada en la esquina de la Calle 33 Este y la Avenida 13, Paterson. El sepelio se llevará a cabo a continuación en el Cementerio Fair Lawn Memorial Park, Fair Lawn.
