Arcangela Bellotti, lovingly known as Angela, of Woodland Park, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories of a life well-lived.
Angela was born on April 13, 1946, in Terlizzi, Bari, Italy, to Francesco and Angela Michele (née DelloRusso) Cataldi. She was raised in Italy during her early childhood and came to the United States at the age of 11, beginning a new chapter of life in the Bronx, New York. She carried with her the strength and resilience that would come to define her throughout her life. A proud graduate of James Monroe High School in the Bronx, Angela embraced the opportunities of her new home while remaining deeply connected to her Italian roots and the values instilled in her from childhood.
Angela built a life centered on family, hard work, and love. She and her beloved Husband, Anthony J. Bellotti, Jr., shared a marriage of 55 years, grounded in love, loyalty, and companionship. Together they made their home in Bergenfield, New Jersey, later moving to Paramus, then Hackensack, and eventually Woodland Park. Through each move and every season of life, Angela created a warm and welcoming home filled with care, laughter, and the comforting presence of a woman who always put others first. She was known for her loving heart, her selfless spirit, and the strength of her character, which touched everyone blessed to know her.
Angela was employed as an office manager for Cirrus Aviation Services in Bergenfield, where she was respected for her reliability, professionalism, and steady manner. She approached her work with the same dedication she gave to her home and family. Those who worked with her knew her as a woman of integrity and kindness, with a reliable presence. Yet her greatest calling was never found in a title or position, but in the countless ways she cared for those around her. She found joy in the simple and meaningful things of life, especially cooking for those she loved.
Her kitchen was often a place of comfort and togetherness, where meals were prepared with care and where family gathered to share stories, laughter, and love. She treasured being surrounded by her family, and those moments were among the most precious in her life.
Angela is survived by her husband, Anthony J. Bellotti, Jr.; her daughter, Christine B. Cammarata, and her boyfriend, Scott R. Vicari; her son, Franco Robert Bellotti, and his fiance, Dorine Sileo; her granddaughter, Kayla Jane Bellotti; her grandson, Jake Patrick Lynch; her granddaughter, Francesca Rose Bellotti; her son Franco’s step-sons, Jackson Gonzalez, Maximus Gonzalez, Jameson Gonzalez, and Gabriel Gonzalez; and his adopted son, Blake Roy. She is also survived by her sister, Elisabetta Rizzi.
She was predeceased by her son, Anthony J. Bellotti, III; her parents, Francesco and Angela Michele (née DelloRusso) Cataldi; her brother, Michele Cataldi; and her sister, Giuseppina Caporale.
Angela will be remembered as a loving, selfless, and spirited woman whose life reflected the beauty of her generous heart. She gave of herself freely and loved without reservation. Her presence brought comfort, her words brought reassurance, and her example showed others the value of family, strength, and perseverance. Though her earthly journey has ended, the light of her life continues to shine in the hearts of those who loved her.
