Anita Winkler, 89, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2021. Born in Passaic she was a lifelong Clifton resident. Miss Winkler was an Executive Assistant to the President of I.T.T. Avionics, Nutley for many years before her retirement. She was a lifelong faithful parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Passaic.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Theresa (nee Wurst) Winkler; her sister, Elsie McNeice; and her brother-in-law, Walter McNeice.
Survivors include: her cousins, Dr. Dennis Reichardt, Diane Reichardt-Paulik, Michael D. Paulik, Brandt Paulik and Diana Dee along with their families including nine great-grand “nieces/nephews” whom she adored.
Anita was an incredibly intelligent and kind woman. She devoted her life to caring for her family, faithfully tending to the needs of her parents and her beloved sister Elsie during their times of need. She truly cherished her friendships, nurturing each of them with great love and appreciation. Her strong Catholic faith sustained her through life and gave her great joy. Anita’s professional accomplishments were also impressive and the younger generation of her family admire her as an inspirational role model for her ability to skillfully manage career, family and friends. She was incredibly strong over the past several years in the face of many serious health challenges, but she never lost her quick wit, sharp mind and will to live as independently as she was able.
