Anna (DeBenedetto) Borgese

Anna (nee DeBenedetto) Borgese, 83, of Clifton, NJ passed away peacefully with her three children by her side on Friday, May 29, 2020 at her daughter, Isabelle’s home.

Born in Manocalzate, Italy she came to the United States when she was 17 years old. She was a homemaker and a mother.

She is predeceased by her husband, Vincent F. Borgese; her daughter, Sandra Baldanza; her parents, Carmen and Alfonsina (nee Alabanase) DeBenedetto; and two brothers, Adolpho and Corrado DeBenedetto; and two son-in-law's, William Paul Cook and Kenneth Baldanza.

She is survived by her children, Isabelle Borgese-Cook, Anna Maria DeBlock and her husband, Matthew and Antonio “Tony” C. Borgese; her sister, Immacolata Catenacci; and her six grandchildren, Vincent E. Baldanza, DVM, Craig DeBlock, Amanda Borgese, Ross DeBlock, Tony Borgese and Vasili Vincent Cook; her nephew, Carmen DeBenedetto and his wife, Katia and their daughter, Bianca and her niece, Nancy DeBenedetto. Anna was loved by all who met her and she had an abundance of friends.
