Anna (nee De Pinto) De Maio, 94, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022 in the loving care of her family.
Born and raised in Hoboken, Mrs. De Maio lived there before moving to Clifton in 1998. Prior to retiring in 1974, she had been employed as a Telephone Operator with Bell Telephone Co. in Jersey City of over twenty-five years.
Mrs. De Maio was predeceased by her loved and dearly missed husband, Anthony De Maio in 1974, her cherished parents Onofrio and Lucrezia (nee De Gennaro) De Pinto and by her seven dear siblings: Mary La Candia and Serge, Vito, Frank, Joseph, Michael and John De Pinto.
She is survived by her four devoted children: Annemarie De Maio, Anthony De Maio, Joseph De Maio and his wife, Karen and David De Maio; and three cherished grandchildren: Joseph De Maio and his fiancé Monica Wacewicz, Mark De Maio and his girlfriend Taylor Nyberg and Lea De Maio and her boyfriend Colin Burchett. She is also survived by her many loved nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be Tuesday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Wednesday 10:00am from the funeral home and 11:00am at Church of the Madonna Chapel on the Hill, 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee. Interment to follow at Madonna Cemetery, Fort Lee.
