Anni (Balko) Link

Anni (nee Balko) Link, 79, of Morristown, NJ.  Passed away peacefully on September 30, 2021 from follicular lymphoma.  

            Born into a large German family, she became a postwar refugee, who migrated to Northern NJ, married and raised two daughters in a spotless home, getting her GED at age 42.  She taught her daughters Rebecca and Tina that education and curiosity were the keys to a good life filled with joy. Anni enjoyed long walks, reading, and eating brot mit butter and jam. Survived by daughters, Rebecca Link and husband, Paul Skvorc of Sydney, Australia, Tina and husband, Tom Gwilliam of Arlington, VA, and some of her Balko siblings. 

            Her daughters are grateful she was their mom, and will always be her Spatzchen.  

            Memorial Visitation on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 7 Ridgedale Avenue, Cedar Knolls, NJ 07927.
