Audrey (Stanko) Safin

Audrey (nee Stanko) Safin, 76, of Midland Park, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her bedside on Sunday May 26th, 2024.

​Born and raised in Passaic, Mrs. Safin lived in Saddle Brook for most of her life and for the past five years had resided in Midland Park. Prior to retiring in 2010, she was employed as a Business Associate with Valley Hospital in Ridgewood for over twenty years. Audrey loved to travel and shop and cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

​Mrs. Safin was predeceased by her beloved and dearly missed husband, Stanley Safin, who passed away on October 20, 2014 as well as by her cherished parents, William and Tessie (nee Kosmenchuk) Stanko.

​She is survived by her two loving and devoted children: Daniel Safin and his husband, Mark Birkhead, of New York, NY and Suzanne Gramuglia and her husband, Enrico, of Waldwick; her dear sister and best friend, Patricia Stanko and her partner, Walter Stanislaw, of North Haledon; and by her two cherished grandchildren, Anna and Ethan Gramuglia.

​Visiting will be Thursday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral will be Friday morning 9:15am from the funeral home and 10:00am at Ss. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral, 200 Third Street, Passaic. Interment to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul RO Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
