Barbara A. (Carlson) Bell

Barbara A. (nee Carlson) Bell, 81, of Wallington, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023. Born and raised on Staten Island, NY, Barbara moved to Wallington, NJ in 1972 where she has since resided. She had been employed as a Customer Service Representative at Bradlees department store in Clifton for over 25 years until their closing. Barbara then spent her time with her family as the primary babysitter for her two granddaughters.

Barbara attended St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton with her family. She was an avid fan of Elvis. Her obsession with the music icon has brought her to visit Graceland numerous times. Barbara had such a pleasant personality and was loved by all who got to know her. She will be deeply missed.

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband, George S. Bell in 2011.

Survivors include: her devoted daughter, Kerri A. Buchta and her husband, Andreas; her two loving granddaughters, Kayla and Amara Buchta; her dear sister, Elizabeth Marrone and her husband, Frank; her faithful granddog, Lola; and her extended family including nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be Monday 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Private cremation to follow.
