Barbara J. Sikora, 82, of Clifton, passed away peacefully on Monday July 7th, 2025.
Born in Passaic, Barbara was raised in Clifton and then lived in Wayne for fifteen years followed by Little Falls for twenty years before then returning to Clifton. She earned her Master’s degree in Library Science from Rutgers University and had been employed as Library Director of the Livingston Public Library prior to retirement. Barbara was an active and faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton where she was also a member of the Rosary Society and Legion of Mary. Above all though, she was devoted to her family and her loved ones.
She was predeceased by her loved and missed parents, Stanley Sikora (2004) and Jean (nee Sobczyk) Sikora (2006) and by her dear brother, Thomas Sikora (1985).
Barbara was forever a devoted and loving sister to Margaret Sikora of Clifton who survives her.
Private cremation arrangements through Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. A Memorial Mass for Barbara will be held on Tuesday July 15th at 11:30am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton with interment of ashes to follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
