Belinda Sindac Benito

Belinda Sindac Benito, of Clifton, passed away on June 10, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on January 19, 1950, in Baler, Quezon, Philippines, she lived a life rooted in faith, devotion, and love for her family and community.

Belinda was raised in the Philippines and came to the United States on June 12, 1989, making her home in Clifton, where she resided ever since. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and built a respected career as an accountant for Chase Melon Bank, from which she retired in 2007 following her final assignment in Pittsburgh. Her years of dedicated service and professionalism left a lasting impression on colleagues and clients alike.

A faithful parishioner of St. Paul RC Church in Clifton, Belinda also volunteered whenever needed. Her devotion to her faith extended through her involvement with Missionary Families of Christ, Chapter 5 of St. Joseph RC Church in Lincoln Park; the Filipino-American Group at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church in Clifton; and the Mother of Perpetual Help devotional community in Clifton. She was known for her steadfast love of Jesus and generously shared her faith with others through her daily devotions, which became a cherished part of her presence in the lives of those around her.

Belinda was a social butterfly who loved connecting people and bringing others together. She enjoyed dancing-especially line dancing-which brought her great joy. She also loved traveling and treasured attending her grandchildren’s events, where she was always a proud and loving presence.

Belinda is survived by her husband, Samuel Benito, of Clifton; her daughter, Bess Karen Twaskas, and her husband, Jeffrey, of Fanwood, along with their daughter, Kaelyn April; her son, Brian Ray Benito, and his wife, Michelle Ribeiro, of Kearny, and their twin daughters, Samantha Michelle and Alexandra Nicole; her daughter, Bydette Ann Dostie, and her husband, Trevor, of Whippany, along with their children, Anya Rose and Ryan Alexander; and her son, Biel Anthony Benito, and his wife, Faye, of Belleville, MI, and their sons, Chase Enzo and Atlas Kai. She is also survived by her three sisters: Madeline Morgan and her husband, Harry, of Ephrata, PA; Clarissa Biason, and her husband, Tany, of Clifton; and Joy Lacuin and her husband, Lito, of Clifton.

She was predeceased by her father, Matias D. Sindac, Jr. and her mother, Levy G. (née Gonzales) Sindac.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be Monday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Paul RC Church, corner of Union Avenue and Second Street, Clifton.
