Bridie (Dooner) Budz

Bridie (nee Dooner) Budz, 90, of Clifton, passed away October 5, 2023. Born in Ennybegs, Longford, Ireland, Mrs. Budz came to the United States in 1950 and settled in New York City. She then lived most of her life in Clifton where she raised her family.  Mrs. Budz was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church in Clifton and enjoyed her family, especially babysitting her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence J. Budz in 2002; her daughter, Karen Cervetto and her son, James Pixomatis.

Survivors include: her children, Michele Andrikanich and her husband, John, Mary Jane Czerwinski and her husband, Ken, and John L. Budz and his wife, Adrienne; her son-in-law, Arnold Cervetto; and six grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct., 10, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. The funeral service will be held during the visitation at 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
