Carlos H. Garcia, 64, of Paterson, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021. Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, Carlos came to the United States in 1974 settling in Paterson. He was employed as a Maintenance Manager with Lubrizol Corp. of Clifton where he worked for almost 22 years. He was also a faithful parishioner of St. Brendan & St. George R.C. Church in Clifton.
Carlos greatly enjoyed fishing and deer hunting as well as listening to Mariachi music and gardening. He was always so proud of his vegetables and shared them freely with anyone who wanted them. He also enjoyed watching soccer all the time and was a loyal fan of Real Madrid. But Carlos’ greatest enjoyment was being surrounded by his family. Countless days and nights were spent at his home, with him manning the grill and making the perfect skirt steak, which everyone always raved about. He had an incredible sense of humor and his smile and laugh were second to none.
He was predeceased by his parents, Carlos Peña and Angelica Garcia.
Survivors include: his three devoted daughters, Karla V. Garcia of Paterson, Veronica L. Garcia and her husband, Luis Alfaro of Kenilworth and Angelica M. Garcia of Montclair, along with their mother, Rosa E. Garcia; one brother, Juan Garcia of Paterson and one sister, Ana Merlano of Wayne; his significant other, Jessica Alvarez of Paterson; as well as his loving nieces and nephews.
