Carmen Yolanda Perez, 80, of Haledon passed away on July 3, 2020.
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Mrs. Perez came to the United States in 2006, settling in Haledon. She was a homemaker…a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved to dance and listen to music but above all else, to make people laugh. She also loved to cook and was always ready to prepare a meal for her family and spend time with them.
She is survived by her husband, Pedro Maria Ramos; by her nine children: Carmen Ramos, Pedro Ramos, Modesto Ramos, Silvia Gil, Blasina Gil, Ludovina Ramos, Dariza Ramos, Edwin Ramos and Roberto Munoz; her sister, Ana Mercedes Perez; her seventeen grandchildren: Viviana Acosta, Luis Acosta, Carmen Gloria Acosta, Adderly Ramos, Edgar Ramos, Luigi Ramos, Joanny Gil, Steven Gil, Jazlyn Gil, Jason Gil, Jason Gil, Kimberly Aponte, Justin Aponte, Ismael Rodriguez, Giovanna Rodriguez, Haylee Munoz, Daylet Ramos and Elian Ramos; and nine great-grandchildren: Diovi Tupete, Jaiden Gil, Dayvis Tupete, Daysha Tupete, Aaron Ramos, Sebastian Acosta, Brittany Santos, Edward Ramos and Jake Ramos.
Visitation will be Saturday June 11th from 2-6pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton with a service to be held during the visiting hours at 4:00 pm. For those unable to attend in person, you are invited to view and leave a message for the family through a Live Stream of the entire visiting and service which will be available by clicking HERE during the visiting hours. Following her services, Carmen will be transferred back to the Dominican Republic for entombment at Cementerio Municipal de Laguna Salada, Valverde, D.R.
