Carole A. (Bucher) Alongi

Carole A. (nee Bucher) Alongi, 73, of Clifton, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at home peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Englewood, Carole was raised in Paramus and Butler. She has resided in Clifton for the last 47 years. Before her retirement, Carole was employed as a receptionist with Express Scripts in East Hanover. She was a parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church in Clifton.  Carole enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters.

She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Gloria (Smith) Bucher and her sister, Pamela Ferrier.

Survivors include: her beloved husband, Raymond Alongi; two devoted daughters, Christine Smith and her husband, Ronald of Lyndhurst and Kimberly Stell and her husband, Ronald of Little Falls; two loving granddaughters, Hailey and Sydney Smith; and her brother, Scott Bucher.

Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 6, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023 at 8:45 am from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Mass at St. Paul RC Church, 124 Union Ave., Clifton.
