Catherine “Cathy” Juliano, known to her family as “Tina”, 58, of Totowa passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026 in the comfort of having her family at her bedside. Born on October 3, 1967, in Elizabeth, Cathy was raised in Clifton and had resided in Totowa since 1994 and lived a life marked by love, courage, and a spirit of adventure that touched all who knew her.
Cathy was the beloved wife of thirty-two years of Joseph Juliano, Jr., and the devoted mother of Alexandra Juliano and Nicolette Juliano, both of Totowa. She was the cherished sister of Gaetano (Tom) Marretta and his wife Jennifer, also of Totowa and their three sons, her dear nephews Thomas, Dominick and Jake Marretta. She was predeceased by her loving parents, Baldo Marretta and Dora (née Cupillari) Marretta. Her family was the center of her life, and she took great pride in the people she loved and the close bonds she nurtured throughout her life.
Cathy was a graduate of Clifton High School and went on to earn her associate degree from Berkeley College in Woodland Park. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an Administrative Assistant with Wealth Preservation Solutions in Paramus.
A devoted and active member of the Totowa Parent Teacher Organization, Cathy gave generously of her time while her daughters were growing up. She served as PTO President and was deeply involved in supporting school activities and her commitment to her family and to the children around her reflected the caring and engaged person she was.
Cathy enjoyed the simple pleasures that made life meaningful. She loved shopping, playing pickleball, planning vacations and traveling. She loved spending time at the beach, sharing a nice glass of wine, and going out to restaurants with family and friends. These are the moments that brought her joy, and she embraced them with enthusiasm and appreciation.
Those who knew Cathy will remember her as a loving, courageous, and adventurous woman whose presence brought comfort, confidence and happiness to others. She faced life with grace and strength, and she leaves behind a legacy of devotion, kindness, and treasured memories, so many of which were captured in the innumerable pictures she appears in. Her family and friends will forever hold her close in their hearts.
