Chrisanthi (Tsimpedes) Kasimos

Chrisanthi Kasimos (nee Tsimpedes) of Paterson, New Jersey passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 13th, 2026.

Chrisanthi emigrated from Tripolis, Greece and settled in Paterson, NJ. She enjoyed attending services at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Clifton, NJ. Her door was always open to friends, family, and strangers alike, and she loved cooking Greek food for her family and community. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, her family was her greatest joy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Miltiadis Kasimos.

She is survived by her loving sons, George Kasimos, and Chris Casimos and his wife, Carol Marshall. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael Casimos and Alexander Kasimos, and is also survived by nieces and nephews in Canada, Greece, and Australia. Her legacy of love, warmth, and dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate her life and honor her memory. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, NJ. Funeral service 9:15 am Thursday at the funeral home. Mass 10:00 am St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, Clifton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, Clifton, NJ 07013 in her memory.
