Christine "Chris" Genardi, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, at her home in Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey. Born on January 12, 1964, in Passaic, New Jersey, Chris's gentle spirit and artistic talents were evident from a young age and shaped her into the remarkable woman she became.
Chris attended Clifton High School, where she formed lifelong friendships and discovered her passion for helping others. Her caring nature led her to a fulfilling career as a Certified Medical Technician, a role in which she touched the lives of countless individuals with her compassion and expertise.
Beyond her professional life, Chris was a devoted wife to her husband, Joseph J. Genardi, and a loving mother to her son, Nicholas Joseph Genardi; her son, Daniel Lazicki; and her daughter, Jessica Lazicki Sokerka. Also survived by her grandchildren; her sisters, Courtney Dowsett and Brooke Pape; her dog Lexi and cats, Ninja and Willow.
An artist at heart, Chris found joy in crafting. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she could often be found immersed in a project, transforming ordinary materials into extraordinary works of art. Her artistic gifts were not only a source of personal fulfillment but also a means of bringing beauty into the lives of those around her.
Those who knew Chris were touched by her selflessness. She had a remarkable ability to care for others more than herself, always putting the needs of her loved ones and community first. Her legacy is one of unwavering love and generosity, traits that defined her every action.
Chris's character was the epitome of loving, gentle, and kind. These words, though simple, encapsulate the profound impact she had on everyone she met. Her warm smile and tender heart will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will continue to inspire and comfort all who were privileged to know her.
As we bid farewell to Christine Genardi, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and grace. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light to her family, friends, and all who were blessed by her presence. Chris's journey on this earth may have ended, but her influence will endure in the hearts of those she loved and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.
