Connie A. (Alessi) Ricotta

With saddened hearts the family announces the passing of this remarkable lady. She was born the middle child of Joseph and Josephina Alessi of Pennsylvania and had two brothers,  Angelo and Salvatore. After moving to New Jersey she became a Registered Nurse practicing at the Barnett Memorial Hospital in Paterson, NJ. She was married to D. Richard Ricotta and had two daughters. After the death of her husband in 1989, she proudly continued to maintain her home of 60 years in Clifton, NJ.

She is survived by her daughters,  Joy Walker and Carol Clemens. She leaves behind three direct Grandchildren, David Palkewick, Christina Allen, Michael Palkewick, three Step-grandchildren and her six Great Grandchildren, Thomas, Carolyn, Elizabeth, Madison Allen, and Clayton, Charli Grace Palkewick. 

She dearly loved the Alessi and Ricotta family members including many nieces and nephews whom she considered very special along with the many people who were “family by love.” She maintained many close friendships. Connie rests at her husband’s side at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair, NJ.
