Constance Joan Martin-Alessi

Constance Joan Martin-Alessi, 92, of Clifton passed away peacefully in the comfort of being in the care of her family on Tuesday March 11th, 2025.

            Born and raised in Hackensack, Constance had been a resident of Clifton since 1960. Her home and her family were her life and meant everything to her, making her proud to have once been referred to as a “Domestic Engineer”. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church in Clifton, loved all things classy, was passionate about keeping things clean striving always to make them spotless and was an avid fan of Neil Diamond.

            Constance was predeceased by her loved and deeply missed husband, James S. Alessi, who passed away on April 28, 2020.

            She is survived by her loving, caring and devoted daughter, Joan Alessi and her husband Nicholas Sahanas, of Palm Coast, FL as well as by her grandson James Sahanas, to whom she was always his “Mums” and his fiancé, Katherine Nugent.

            Visiting will be Friday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Saturday beginning at 8:45am at the funeral home and 9:30am at St. Andrew the Apostle RC Church, 400 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Clifton.
