Daniel L. Schneider, known affectionately to all as Danny, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025. Born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, on July 19, 1977. Danny's zest for life and the game of golf began to shine early and continued throughout his 47 years. He passed away in Wayne, NJ, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, generosity, and an unmatched fun loving spirit.
Danny's early years were spent in the loving care of his parents, Barbara A. Schneider, and the late James L. Schneider. His family tree was a veritable forest of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Clifton, NJ, was not only his home for most of his life but also the place where his personality blossomed and his jokes became as well-known as his golfing prowess.
Professionally, Danny carried more than just golf bags as a caddy at prestigious clubs like Pine Tree Golf Club in Boynton Beach, FL and Essex County Country Club in West Orange, NJ. He carried with him a spirit of camaraderie and a knack for making even the most serious golfers crack a smile. His love for the game was as vast as the fairways he walked, playing from the green mountains of Vermont to the sunny shores of Hilton Head and down to Florida.
His family and friends knew him as, sweet, precious, hilarious and charming Danny, whose face would light up any room. Dan's humor was as impeccable as his timing - whether he was delivering a punchline or advising on the perfect moment to take a swing.
Danny faced many challenges after his accident but always fought back against the odds with many improbable comebacks. His laughter echoes in our hearts, and his larger than life spirit will forever be a part of the stories we share at the 19th hole. Swing easy, Danny. You've earned your place in the clubhouse of eternity.
