Denis J. Kaminski, 80, of Saddle Brook, passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 4th, 2023.
Born in Passaic, Mr. Kaminski was raised in Clifton and lived there for many years before moving to Saddle Brook thirty-five years ago. He earned his undergraduate degree from Paterson State Teachers College (now William Paterson University) and went on to earn two Master’s Degrees from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Math and Computers. He began his long career in education as a Math teacher at the Ridgewood Middle School and then Saddle River Middle School before becoming a Math and Computers Professor at Bergen Community College in Paramus until retirement. Mr. Kaminski enjoyed spending time at the Saddle River Park in Saddle Brook where he made many friends, both with people as well as their dogs who he always had treats and biscuits for.
Mr. Kaminski was predeceased by his loved and missed parents, Stanley and Sophie (nee Brzozowski) Kaminski as well as by his dear brother Stanley Kaminski, Jr.
He is survived by his three loving and devoted children: Denis Kaminski, Jr. of Niantic, CT, Jason Kaminski and his wife, Tammi, of New Milford, and Janice Karpinski and her husband, John, of Hackettstown; his two dear sisters: Ann Kaminski of Clifton and Mary Sandholt of Manalapan; and by his two cherished grandchildren: Matthew and Ashleigh Kaminski.
Memorial Visiting will be held at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton on Saturday April 15th from 1:00-3:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00pm.
