Diana J. (Jesion) Smith

Diana J. (nee Jesion) Smith, 92, of Woodland Park, formerly of Clifton, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. Born and raised in Passaic, Diana resided in Clifton for most of her life. She earned her B.S. degree in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and also attended Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa.

Before her retirement, Diana was employed as a bookkeeper with her husband’s accounting firm, Eugene D. Smith Public Accounting, in Passaic. Diana was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene D. Smith in 1987 and her son-in-law, Arthur Lopuzzo in 2004.

Survivors include: her daughters, Valerie Lopuzzo and Susan Wintermute (James); two grandchildren, Donald Lopuzzo (Melissa) and Aimee Wintermute; and her sister, Marie Crabtree.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10:45 am from the funeral home followed by an 11:30 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton.
