Dorothy (Shaffer) Gajdos

Dorothy Gajdos, 89, of Clifton, passed away on January 6, 2024. Born in Passaic, Dottie resided in Clifton for almost all of her life. Before her retirement, she was the co-owner, along with her husband, Michael, of Mike’s Delicatessen located on Lakeview Avenue in Clifton. Dottie was a faithful parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Passaic.

Survivors include: her beloved and devoted husband, Michael; and her two sons, Robert M. Gajdos, MD and his wife, Jeanna and Gary S. Gajdos, DMD.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10:00 am at Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral, 200 Third Street, Passaic. Interment to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
