Dorothy C. (Kolodzej) Sprich

Dorothy C. (nee Kolodzej), 94, of Garfield, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 7, 2024.  Born in Garfield, Mrs. Sprich was a lifelong resident. Before her retirement, she was employed as a Keypunch Operator with Curtiss-Wright Co. in Wood-Ridge, NJ. Mrs. Sprich was a faithful parishioner of St. Leo’s R.C. Church in Elmwood Park.

Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Sprich in 2010; her parents, Michael and Katherine (nee Servas) Kolodzej and her siblings.

Survivors include: daughters, Gail Sopuch (Leo), Susan Ditzel (Ron) and Kristen Sondej (Henry); her son, Robert Sprich (Kathy); seven grandchildren, Holly (John), Elizabeth, Kristy, Stephanie, Douglas, Danny (Lauren) and Lauren (Steve); and five great-grandchildren, Michael, Kaitlyn, Johnny, Lucy and Zach.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at St. Leo R.C. Church, 324 Market Street, Elmwood Park, NJ.
