Dorothy J. (Tulenko) Feher passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Little Falls, NJ, at the age of 85. Born on February 20, 1940, in Passaic, NJ, Dorothy was a woman whose life was marked by her deep love for her family.
Dorothy was raised in Passaic’s Third Ward Park and was a proud graduate of Passaic High School. She furthered her education at Bennington College in Vermont, where she cultivated a love of learning. Her marriage to her husband, Ladislas (Laddie) F. Feher spanned 61 remarkable years until his passing in 2023. They settled in Little Falls in 1969, and raised three incredible children, who were the cornerstone of her existence.
Dorothy was a beacon of wisdom and her interests were as varied as they were passionate. She loved her home, holiday traditions, crossword puzzles, TV, music, and gardening. Her favorite place to travel was Italy, with close friends Barbara and Sam Gilbert, where they created so many cherished memories. But most of all, she loved her Black Lab Otis, always holding a special place in her heart.
Though she is predeceased by her husband Laddie, her brother Alan Tulenko, and her parents, George and Eleanor Tulenko, Dorothy's legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, niece, nephews, cousins, and a circle of special friends who were touched by her grace and compassion. Dorothy leaves behind three children: David and his wife Kristine, Robert and his wife Jill, and Lauren and her partner Heather; and four grandchildren, Samantha, Riley, Garrett, and Mason.
