Edward Woznak Obituary

Edward J. Woznak, Jr., 70, of Lyndhurst passed away suddenly on January 9, 2021.

Born in Hoboken, Mr. Woznak was raised in West New York and Clifton. He then lived in Elmwood Park and Wallington before moving to Lyndhurst eight years ago. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a Warehouseman with Denman & Davis Steel, formerly located on Broad Street in Clifton. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church in Lyndhurst.

Mr. Woznak was predeceased by his parents, Edward J. Woznak, Sr. and Mary (nee Jazemback) Woznak.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane (nee Speer) Woznak, of Lyndhurst; by his four loving and devoted daughters: Kimberly Woznak, Allison Woznak and her husband, Erik Ulerio and Jessica Woznak, all of Lyndhurst and Ashley Woznak and her wife, Cassandra, of Wharton; by two dear siblings: Stephanie Woznak and Joseph Woznak, both of Clifton; and five cherished grandchildren: Lynessa, Jacob, Kayla, Noah and Mackenzie. He was also loved and will be dearly missed by his sisters- and brothers-in-law, cousins and many, many friends.

Visiting will be Saturday from 1:00-4:30pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 4:30pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Private cremation to follow. F ace masks must be worn inside the funeral home and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. Due to current restrictions on allowable numbers inside the funeral home at one time (50), it is requested that those attending the visitation be courteous by limiting their time inside in order to allow others the opportunity to pay their respects as well. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to either St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or Shriner’s Hospitals for children (www.lovetotherescue.org), P.O. Box 863765, Orlando, Florida 32886 would be preferred and appreciated.
