Elaine M. (Popovich) Warga

Elaine M. (nee Popovich) Warga, 71, of Clifton passed away on November 18, 2022.

Born in Paterson, Mrs. Warga resided in Clifton for most of her life. Before retiring, she had been employed as a cashier with Target in Clifton. Previous employment was with the Richfield Village Apartments as a Rental Agent. She was a lifelong faithful parishioner of the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel in Passaic where she was a member of the Mothers Club as well as the Ladies Guild.

Mrs. Warga was predeceased by her father, John Popovich. She passed away along with her beloved husband, Steven R. Warga and her treasured mother, Helen L. (nee Kowalick) Popovich on Friday November 18, 2022.

Elaine is survived by her two loved and devoted children: Kimberly Willbrandt and her husband, Jason, of Orlando, FL and Steven J. Warga of Clifton; by her dear brother, Charles Popovich, of Scranton, PA, and her cherished grandson, Shane Willbrandt.

Memorial Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Panikhida Service Tuesday 4:30 pm at the funeral home.  A Byzantine Liturgy will be held Wednesday 10:00 am at the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel, 96 First Street, Passaic. Please meet at church. The Liturgy will be livestreamed and can be accessed via the church website  https://stmichaelsarchangel.org.    Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted and would be appreciated.
