Elzbieta (Budzowska) Wyka

Elzbieta Wyka (née Budzowska), age 77, passed away peacefully on July 6th, 2026 at her home in the Lakeview section of Paterson, NJ.

A native of Poland, she earned her Engineering Degree in Agricultural Biology from the Agricultural Academy of Szczecin.  Following graduation, she spent several years inspecting, planning and assisting with management of large production plants for agribusiness companies, foreign and domestic.

Babcia Ela, as her grandchildren lovingly referred to her, loved chocolate, good tea, cats, reading, taking long walks and tending to her flower and herb garden.

Survived by her son Arthur and his wife Magdalena, her granddaughters Angela, Emilia and Alexandra and her sister Eleonora Czerniak of Poland.

Predeceased by her parents Leon and Aniela (née Baczynska) and her former spouse Jozef Wyka.
