Beloved Wife, mother, sister and grandmother, 90
Emily E. (nee Nassaney) Asbaty, 90, of Clifton, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at home in the care of her loving family. Emily was born in Paterson, she resided there before moving to Clifton in 1964. Emily owned Main Luncheonette in Passaic and then Molly’s Place in Clifton from 1981 to 1989. She was a loving, caring person who took great pride in raising four beautiful children. She loved puzzles, dancing and was an avid fan of the NY Rangers.
Her courage and strength was remarkable to the very end. Our mother is the most beautiful woman. She loved to entertain and her value of family, music, humor and cooking will be terribly missed. We will love and miss her until the end of our own time.
Emily was predeceased by her parents, Louis and Ida and her brother Charles Nassaney.
Emily is survived by her beloved husband, Albert to whom she has been married to for over 66 years. She will be eternally loved and missed by her devoted children: Albert and Renee of Pawleys Island, SC, Ava and Robert of Clifton, NJ, Thomas and Joan of Randolph, NJ, David
and Susan of Pawleys Island, SC, and her dear sister, Evelyn Sellitto.
Cherished Sitto (grandmother) to Michelle and Stephen, Gregory, Dawn, Daniel and Christina, Brian and Courtney and Thomas; her cherished great grandchild, Julius; and Step-grandchildren, Jakiann and Shane Kelly. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
